“Progettare”,
the Italian word for design, is also the name of the leading
Italian magazine focused on industrial design. Over the past
25 years this streamlined and established periodical has given
its readers, mainly designers and technicians, precious and
reliable information concerning the most important and interesting
themes. The result is a magazine providing a demanding public
with suggestions and professional advice.
CAD/CAM,
materials, industrial components, adhesives and fasteners,
maintenance, regulations, patents, research and training are
among the many subjects that have been considered resulting
from interviews, forums, market data, special single-theme
reportages as well as reports concerning the most important
exhibitions. Moreover, starting from this year, further pages
have been set apart for design and designers which are going
to be introduced with two special issues. Its editorial team,
extremely professional and dynamic, is supported by a competent
editorial committee and by a large number of qualified contributors.
This is what makes Progettare one of the most influential
and complete magazines of the sector giving its readers suggestions,
clues and hints as well inventiveness. All is neatly arranged
within a precise editorial plan.
It
is renewed also for the year 2005 the commitment to promote
Fluidotecnica, the “historical” supplement
of Progettare and an appreciated reference for all
those working in the hydraulic and pneumatic sectors as technicians,
designers and maintenance workers. Particularly close to ASSOFLUID
and other companies of the sector, Fuidotecnica first
appeared and has ever since evolved like a magazine, with
its own editorial plan focused on the presentation of the
most significant case histories related to hydraulics and
pneumatics, product surveys and, last but not least, a sequence
of forums. Finally the 2005 planning reserves a good part
to the insert Trasmissioni Meccaniche & Motion Control
with detailed presentations of innovations and newest applications
carried out by the companies of the sector. Electronics applied
to power transmission and motion control will be among the
most significant topics dealt with in the journal.
Progettare
will attend many of the most important 2005 exhibitions- in
particular the Hanover Fair, whereby specific initiatives
will be held before, during and after the show. To this purpose,
worthwhile to mention is Progettare International,
a one-off bilingual German-English issue that will be distributed
at the Hanover Fair. Progettare is an official organ
of AIPI, Associazione Italiana dei Progettisti Industriali
(the Italian Association of Industrial Designers). The print-run
and circulation are certified.
