Target Audience
PC Open has a readership consisting of SOHO, end-users, and semi-professionals.

PC Open is a communication and information technology monthly having vocational and personal updating as strong points. It's meant both for private customers and professionals who want to use technology at its maximum potential and haven't got enough time to absorb information required for the development of their business.

The articles are focused on technical evaluations, market trends and technological updating on the strategic themes of the PC market, in particular notebook, security, imaging and multimedia, wireless nets, PDA and smartphone, Linux-Windows integration, and Web application development.

The highlights of the magazine are the comparative tests made by PC Open Lab, each month offering a selection of the best products based on a price per value ratio and supplying a precise outline of key elements to be used on purchasing.

The courses issued in installments are another distinctive feature of PC Open. Four have been published since 2001, and three are planned each month starting 2005 to meet the readers' growing request.

Each issue comes with three CD-ROMS, free software mentioned in the articles of the month and complete with commercial products. A special version of PC Open with DVD has also been published since March 2004.
